Semaphore is a project exploring symbols, codes and language. Whilst initially looking at the way codes can be visualised graphically, the project blossomed into an ideographic form of communication for the contemporary designer. Bringing together elements of surprise, beauty and optimism: shapes and symbols combine with a specific colour palette to create original meaning.

The placement of symbols allows you to compose a variety of messages and designs, communicating optimistic messages that can be built on with more symbols in the future.
